The cat flea is by far the most common species which comes into contact with humans and
despite its name is also found on dogs. Before treatment we advise the home owner to treat
any pets with a flea treatment available from the vet and all pet's bedding to be washed
thoroughly at 60C or disposed of. We will then thoroughly vacuum, picking up egg cases and
pupa and spray with residual pesticide.
